Hip Hop for the Homeless year 7

Hello everyone and welcome to yet another ripple effect of the year 2020.
Yikes. No, better yet... YY.I.K.E.S What a mess. Like many of you, I miss shows, I miss performing, I miss creating, I miss smiles, handshakes and hugs. But we must take care of this issue NOW - so 2021 allows us our old "freedoms." With that being said, Hip Hop for the Homeless RETURNS! We can't have the same kind of shows unfortunately and because of that, we are missing out on a huge part of this movement. So many of you would come to shows, with canned goods, soups, old clothing, new clothing, toiletries and cash for items, prizes, merchandise and our infamous Hip Hop for the Homeless Tshirt.
52644810_1605627496725710_r.jpegWe are trying to raise $5,000 and here is the breakdown: with these funds we can INSURE that all 5 shelters & organizations who we are working with will get $600 each, we can cover all expenses for the t-shirts that weren't covered by our sponsors and we can make sure that all production is completely taken care of. Virtual performances are definitely popular now - but we want to make sure that we bring you the best quality shows we can! Top of the line audio, video and LIVE coverage and interviews that you want to see from your favorite local artists. If we go over 5K - we will split up every dollar amount and give that to the shelters and organizations.

We know how difficult it is to donate money during the holiday season - but I always tell folks, think about how difficult it is to be outside and displaced in Winter, in New England, with little to no support. Plus, I know this sounds so contrite and cheesy - but helping someone out during this time of year, really makes you feel good inside.

We are hoping that in the next 4 weeks - we are able to meet our goal - so we can deliver these checks before the holiday season. I am personally grateful that we have been able to do this for 7 years, and it wouldn't be possible without your support.

PLEASE UNDERSTAND - I will try my hardest to get shirts to everyone that donates $25 or more! All donations are welcome, but that is the minimum for a tee.

$25 - 1 T-shirt mailed or dropped off

$50 - 2 T-shirts mailed or dropped off

$100 - 4 T-shirts mailed or dropped off

$200 - let's chat - you're clearly an awesome individual, and we can talk about a collaboration PLUS 4 T-shirts mailed or dropped off

$500 - Help me pick the colors of next year's shirt PLUS 4 T-shirts mailed or dropped off

Thank you all so much, I cannot even imagine how COVID has affected you and your family, and your income and your mental health. I am aware how sensitive it is to ask for donations at a time like this - but together, we are stronger, and we can make a difference.

I love you all, even the people who are prettier than me...

Cheers to year 7!
