Meet Andria Ayers : Andria Was diagnosed with Myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) a conditions that can occur when the blood-forming cells in the bone marrow become abnormal. This leads to low numbers of one or more types of blood cells. MDS is considered a type of cancer and it required immediate treatment. Andria is Chad Ayers mother. Chad has worked with me for over 10 years and him and his family are some of the greatest people that you would ever want to know. Help Me Help Them.
Andria right after Diagnosis.

Recommended treatment:
* 4 rounds of chemotherapy. Andria completed 3 rounds of the Chemo throughout the summer. After each round, she was admitted to the hospital with complications. but the chemo did help improve her blood counts.
* The next best thing for her was to get a bone marrow transplant. The search began and by the grace of god her brother Bill Higgins was a 100% match.
* What happens next? The transplant has been scheduled for December 17th. On December 10th Andria and her family will go to Hope Lodge in Rochester, where she will stay for the transplant and the required recovery time. She will undergo 5 days of intense Chemo with a day of rest on the sixth day and on the seventh day the transplant will happen. Once it is complete, the she will spend several weeks under close medical care, so that the medical staff can nurse her back to health.
Andria in August. The effects of Chemo and the cancer are real!! She is still smiling though. LOVE!!!

* WHAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP!
The physical, emotional and financial toll that cancer has on someone and their family is something that you will never understand, unless you have gone through it. It turns your world upside down. It is like a tornado that whips through, leaving the wreckage behind for the person and their family to figure out how to deal with it. Andria and her family will go through emotional and financial stress to beat this cancer. The only thing that we can do, is to love and support them all with encouragement and financial support. The inability to work and the cost of the medical bills that pile up from something like this are HUGE!! most of you that know Andria and her husband Punky, know the they are very humble and won't ask for help. They are the most genuine and loyal bunch of folks that you will meet. If they wont ask. I will.
*CALL TO ACTION:
Please donate if you can. $1 from $10,000 people will make a huge difference. Like and Share this to everyone you know. Thank you so much for your support and for sharing this as much as you can. You are truly helping a WONDERFUL lady and a GREAT family.
