Help Valeria's family to pay their expenses

Hi, my name is Renata Harris and I'm fundraising for Valeria's family to help them pay for rent and expenses this month while Valeria is in the hospital. Valeria is the oldest daughter of a family of 5. She is a beautiful and sweet girl that always has a smile in her face. Her family are from Venezuela and they live in Florida since 2017. She is 16 years old and a junior in high school.

This week after Valeria came home from school her parents noticed that she was behaving different, moving slowly and very silent. That night Valeria didn't eat or sleep well. The following day she didn't go to school because she wasn't feeling well and couldn't talk. Parents decided to take her to the the ER because she wasn't responding to simple commands. In the hospital they did blood and urine culture, meningitis Encephalitis PCR panel, CT head and X ray chest. The results came back all negative and they detected only a UTI. She was released from the hospital and went home that night but her mental status didn't improve.

The follow day Valeria couldn't recognize her family or even talk and they rushed to the children's hospital where she is until now. It has been 3 days.

Valeria doesn't respond, talk or eat. She has a feeding tube. Doctors are still looking for answers and they are running a battery of tests to figure out why Valeria is having these symptoms. As a friend of the family and a mom myself I can't imagine the stress they are facing right now. They also don't have a family in the United States to suport them emotionally and financially. Dad is a salesman in a furniture store in Orlando and mom recently was hired by a local restaurant to work in the kitchen. This week would be her second week with the company.They can't go to work at this moment because they are with Valeria in the hospital but the bills won't stop coming.
