Help Siargao Recover & Rebuild from Cat 5 Typhoon

Siargao Island was just hit by a Category 5 Typhoon - the strongest type of tropical storm in the world. It had almost 200 mph winds and massive storm surges and we have lost almost all contact with anyone on the island. All we can do now is pray and prepare for when we can send relief to those in dire need.

Most of the locals live by the sea and on small remote islands nearby in houses made of wood or tin and don't stand a chance of survival from this storm. It will takes months of recovery and focused effort to get even electricity to some of these areas, let alone a start to rebuilding, as all support needs to be transported to surrounding islands.

While the government is helping, they are completely overloaded right now and it will take days from Manila to reach the island. We have very few updates and sadly believe there are many more dead than reports have revealed.

We, as a group of people who have friends and family on Siargao, are setting up operations from Davao and other locations - as we can reach the island in hours instead of days - to deliver food, blankets, construction equipment and many more life-saving goods and services.

100% of proceeds will go directly to saving the island and we have and will continue to update and show Transparency Reports to detail all donations in and how all donations are being spent. Please help however you can, even just to spread the word of the devastation and hope to recover.
