My dad, Skippy Stamp, has always been the kind of person who works hard and puts everyone else before himself. Right now, he’s facing something he can’t just power through. Skippy is currently in the hospital after doctors found a blockage in his colon. For now, he’s on a colostomy bag, and he’ll be having surgery soon to fix the problem. Recovery won’t be quick—he’s expected to be out of work for at least six to eight weeks.
Being away from work means no steady income, and unfortunately, bills don’t stop just because life does. Between rent, utilities, medical expenses, and everyday needs, the stress of how he’s going to keep up with everything has been weighing heavily on him. This has been hard on him, not just physically, but mentally too. He’s worried about healing, worried about surgery, and worried about how he’s going to make it financially while his body recovers.
It’s difficult for my dad to be in a position where he needs help after always trying to stay strong and independent. I’m asking for help during this time so he can focus on getting better instead of stressing about how he’s going to pay his bills. Anything given will go directly toward keeping a roof over his head, covering basic living expenses, and helping him get through this recovery period. If you’re able to donate, share this, or keep him in your thoughts and prayers, it truly means more than I can say. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for supporting Skippy while he works toward getting back on his feet.
