HELP DEBBIE! Laid off, facing eviction & need help

I hope this message finds you well and blessed. My name is Lindsey Foster and I am hoping to raise money to support my Aunt Debbie through a very difficult time. I thank you for taking the time to read this.

About a year ago Aunt Debbie was in her apartment and became light-headed due to low blood sugar and passed out, hitting her head on the granite kitchen countertop and landing on her hardwood floor. She was found by her son and taken to the Emergency Room where she was diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury. It took time for her to heal and recover and she didn't make a big deal about it but the medical bills started to pile up causing her to get behind on some bills. Ever the optimist, she figured she would find a way to catch up...but the bills just kept coming.

Then in September of 2022 she was laid off from her job. She has been unemployed and the money she receives from unemployment isn't enough to cover her rent. She is now 3 months behind on her rent because the apartment complex will not accept partial payment and late fees and penalties continue to accrue. She is facing eviction very soon if she does not receive help! Her court date for eviction proceedings is scheduled for January 26th.

After diligently searching for a job for months she accepted a position at a new company and she will be starting on January 16th.

Lastly, her apartment was flooded the week of Christmas due to frozen pipes bursting in the ceiling. Her apartment has been unlivable but she has had to suffer through the repairs while the apartment complex and insurance company fight over who is responsible for damages and paying putting the Tenant in a temporary space. While living in this construction zone she slipped and fell and hit her head on the concrete again! Because she is between jobs with no health insurance she was unable to seek medical attention.

If you know Aunt Debbie like I do...you know she would never ask for help on her own which is why I am doing this for her. She has always been independent and never asked friends or family for help. She needs our support in this very difficult time.
