"Support Hamza and his family living under siege in Gaza"

My name is Zainab Mohammed. I am Bahraini, but I live in the United Kingdom.

I am launching this campaign on behalf of a family in Gaza — a family of eight members. They have lost their home and suffered greatly due to this ongoing genocide, enduring hardships that are beyond our imagination.

The family has been displaced multiple times. They are currently living in a tent in Al-Mawasi, Khan Younis — an area that has been the target of intense attacks. They are constantly at risk of being forced to evacuate again to yet another so-called “safe zone.”

Hamza, one of the family members, was a practicing lawyer and worked in a startup with his brother. Then the war came and destroyed everything.

The father of the family was employed, but due to the war, he lost his job and now has no source of income.

This family dreams of living days without war — to simply be able to meet life’s basic needs. Despite everything, they continue to hold on to hope and those dreams.

While they are struggling to survive this genocide, their fundraising efforts are also full of challenges. This is not a well-known family. No one is sharing their donation link, and they don’t have consistent internet access. Promoting their campaign has been exhausting.

أطلق هذه الحملة نيابةً عن عائلة في غزة - عائلة مكونة من ثمانية أفراد. فقدوا منزلهم وعانى الكثير جراء هذه الإبادة الجماعية المستمرة، وواجهوا مصاعب تفوق الخيال.

نزحت العائلة عدة مرات. يعيشون حاليًا في خيمة في المواصي بخان يونس - وهي منطقة تعرضت لهجمات مكثفة. وهم معرضون باستمرار لخطر الإخلاء مجددًا إلى ما يُسمى "منطقة آمنة".

حمزة، أحد أفراد العائلة، كان محاميًا ممارسًا وعمل في شركة ناشئة مع شقيقه. ثم جاءت الحرب ودمرت كل شيء.

كان رب الأسرة موظفًا، ولكن بسبب الحرب، فقد وظيفته، ولم يعد لديه أي مصدر دخل.

تحلم هذه العائلة بالعيش أيامًا بلا حرب - لتتمكن ببساطة من تلبية احتياجات الحياة الأساسية. على الرغم من كل شيء، ما زالوا متمسكين بالأمل وتلك الأحلام.

بينما يكافحون للنجاة من هذه الإبادة الجماعية، تواجه جهودهم لجمع التبرعات تحدياتٍ جمة. هذه عائلةٌ غير معروفة. لا أحد يُشارك رابط تبرعهم، وليس لديهم اتصال إنترنت دائم. لقد كان الترويج لحملتهم مُرهقًا.
