Save your local Music Venue - GypsyShack

I opened an all age music venue in my small rural hometown, welcoming entertainment & culture, to the community that would otherwise not have a place to express their themselves creatively.
I have been in operation for 3 consecutive years, updating equipment and music instruments as I could afford them. Gypsy Shack won Best New Business in 2012 from the Union Democrat readers choice awards. I have gained popularity with the local community and have often been thanked for a life changing expierence or an inspiration to form groups/bands, to further create. We welcome all and promote confidence to those that have mentioned they never felt they fit in anywhere until now. We also hold many fund raising benefit concerts for local citizens in need of help.
Our current building was sold and we have been having difficulties in continuing our business the way we have been. Honestly I was ready to call it the end of a wonderful expierence, because of the stress involved in continuing to run this business. After seeing and hearing the dissappointment amongst my customers, I decided to move forward and purchase a building. If I get the help I need to make a down payment, I promise to always keep Gypsy Shack in operation.
