Our Torrey pines class mate from the class of 1977 To friends of our brother, Gus Rowe. A couple of weeks ago Gus was admitted for emergency surgery at the Maui Hospital for a bowel obstruction and hernia. A few days later a leak from that surgery was discovered and he was operated on again. He is being treated in ICU for sepsis and has also developed pneumonia. He is retaining too much fluid and has been intubated and kept sedated since he has had difficulty breathing. His son, Jess Rowe, will be arriving on Sunday to be with his dad . Gus will need lots of help and will have a long road to recovery once they feel comfortable waking him up please give what you can .
