Oxygen Concentrators & Kits for India
Gurseva are raising money to buy oxygen concentrators to be shipped directly to India. We will also donate nasal cannula, oxygen masks, humidifiers and nebulizer kits.
Following the surge of the second wave of Covid -19 in India, this is having a devasting effect and many lives are being unnecessarily lost.
Oxygen therapy is one method of treatment in severe Covid-19 cases but as stocks of liquid oxygen are running low in India, an oxygen concentrator is a suitable alternative. Concentrators collect oxygen from the surrounding air, concentrate it, and then deliver it to the patient, removing the need for replacement or refilling.
A concentrator costs between £200 to £300 per unit. Your donation will go towards purchasing the units. Shipment to India is being covered by Virgin Atlantic. If you can supply a unit, then we require a continuous flow oxygen concentrator with a 3 to 5 litre per minute of oxygen continuous flow.
