Turning Point USA at SDSU is a student organization dedicated to educating fellow students about the principles of free speech, free markets and limited government. Our primary purpose is to create more informed voters and mobilize students for practical application of these principles. We continue that mission today, as we prepare to host our first ever panel event to educate students on gun rights.
Gun rights are being blatantly dissolved in this country, and the increasing push toward bigger government threatens the security of all people, especially women. We are combating this trend by hosting a panel discussion titled “Gun Rights Are Women’s Rights” on November 8th, 2018 to educate students and community members about how the Second Amendment is significant to the safety and security of women. Antonia Okafor, Amy Robbins, Anna Paulina, and Xena Amirani will be our featured guests discussing this issue.
We are putting our beliefs into practice by actively mobilizing students and community members to assert their claim to their Second Amendment rights, but we need your help to succeed with this event. Please consider donating $10, $25, or $50. We faced unfortunate drawbacks recently that have prevented us from achieving our funding goal, but with your help we can make up for our shortfall.
Thank you.
