Alex and I are going to Guatemala on their first international medical outreach! LUCOM is continuing to grow its partnership with Hope of Life International, a Christian ministry that has existed for 28 years, providing for the spiritual and physical needs of the people of Guatemala. Now, LUCOM medical students and faculty are beginning to run medical clinics there. The clinic that we will be participating in will involve a Women's Health clinic.
While we are eager for our first oportunity for international medical missions, we are even more excited to be a part of what the Lord is doing through Hope of Life in Guatemala. We have heard stories from classmates who went on the outreach trip last summer that they saw pregnant women seeing for the first time the ultrasound of their unborn baby, starving babies were rescued and fed, and that hearts received the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Please consider supporting us financially and with prayer as we get to play a small role in what God is doing in Zacapa, Guatemala!
