Help Us Bring Music, Love & Backpacks to the Block

This summer, we’re launching something powerful — a community-driven movement called Groove N Give, and our first big event series Groove N Brew.

We’re throwing free, family-friendly house music events at local breweries around L.A., bringing together DJs, culture, and community to collect school supplies and backpacks for kids in underserved neighborhoods like Boyle Heights, DTLA, and beyond.

But this is about way more than just music.

Why This Matters

Growing up in the hood, I saw first-hand how much just one act of love could mean. For a lot of kids, that backpack might be the only new thing they get all year. That moment of care might be the first time they feel truly seen.

Whether it’s through a fade at the barbershop or a beat that makes people dance, I’ve always believed in the power of giving back — and I know this project can make a real difference.

What We’re Doing

• Hosting events at local breweries all summer

• Spinning feel-good vibes only: Funk House, Latin House, Afro House — no ego, just groove

• Turning each event into a school supply + backpack drive

• Wrapping it all up with a finale party where we push to make our goal
