We are a group of concerned residents in the Oceanside Area called the Greig Greenway Society (GGS).

We need your help again, to get the message out!

The developer of 1465 Greig Road has come back to council for the third time, seeking a zoning change to build 330 units of four and

sixplexes. While this is a significant reduction from the previous presentation, it is still too dense. This development contributes to urban sprawl, increases car traffic into town, as well as foot traffic along the Englishman River.

We need to get the message out to residents in Parksville so they know the facts and can write to Parksville Council to let them know that 330 units are too many.

With the money raised the Greig Greenway Society will be:

-Preparing mail-out cards to a select number of Parksville residents who live close to the property to advise them of our concerns and to write to the Parksville Council;

-Placing an advertisement in the PQB Newspaper;

-Preparing videos to be placed on the Greig Greenway Society's Facebook page.
