Our brother and friend, Gregg Burns recently endured a traumatic, life changing event and is currently at UMC beginning his recovery. Although Gregg’s recovery has progressed at an incredible rate, he has a long road ahead, involving surgeries and post operative therapy.

Anyone that has ever come into contact with Gregg socially, around a firehouse coffee table, or in a hockey locker room knows how much of a passionate, loyal and loving human being he is to his family, friends and animals.

Gregg is forever grateful for the support of his brothers and sisters on the job, including the health insurance provided by L1285. Unfortunately, it is undetermined if and/or when Gregg will return to duty and so ANY financial assistance for basic necessities over the next several months in support of his recovery would be greatly appreciated.
