I'm trying to get this man a working car and some food so he can get back on his feet. The other day we found this man with a cane and a bad limp hitch hiking. I am always sketchy in this situations but my wife has a big heart and you could tell he needed helped. We picked him up. As soon as he got in the car he started crying. He lost his wife from cancer and he was trying to walk to the store to buy soup, which was all he could afford and over a mile away (with a cane). Turns out he was a proffesor at Cornell University, He is very intelligent. His wife was also a proffesor. He is down on his luck since her passing. Severly. We got him to the store got him some food and drove him back home. Unfortunately his car doesn't work and cost to much money to fix for his small pension. He is severely depressed. He needs help!. I started this GoFundMe page as a recommendation from my friends. I have tried to help this man everyday since I met him May 1 with food/rides but He lives to far for me to Help all the time. He needs a car and some food. If you have $1 or $2 and can donate it, it would be an Honor to help this man who has helped so many, get a car working vehicle and back on his feet.
