Our home, which has been in our family since 1960, was very nearly auctioned off on Thursday, April 12. Unless we pay them a bafflingly high amount, or manage to stay in a bafflingly high and tricky bankruptcy case, it may still be sold. For a number of reasons, our family can't afford to be anywhere else, which is why we hope to raise $65,000 (the bafflingly high amount, plus GFM's percentage) by July 18 (the day the bankruptcy either will, or won't go into full effect).
