Help the Grangers Protect Their Home from Floods

Backstory
I’ve gotten to know the Granger family through one of my sisters, Kate, who’s become close with them and visited their community farm a few times. They live in a remote, hillside part of Moruga, Trinidad and are - in every imaginable way - unbelievably wonderful people.
Their son, Glendon, is my age and extremely limited by severe cerebral palsy. He’s bed-bound, lives at home and needs 24-hour, hands-on care. The Grangers are inspiringly and selflessly devoted caregivers for him, despite very limited resources and minimal access to medical care or government aid.
The cause
On top of all the challenges of caring for Glendon, the Grangers’ home floods anytime it rains due to the landscape and lack of proper drainage. Glendon's ground-level room is particularly affected.
How you can help
Luckily, this can be fixed!... by building a stone wall and a real drain to protect their house. But the materials and work cost $2,500. That’s where we all come in. Please consider contributing - any amount helps and will have a major, lasting impact.
