Help Celebrate Grandma Annie's 100th Birthday
Donation protected

Hey y’all, so I know I haven’t been on here much. My family has been going through one thing after another, from my dad losing his leg and literally almost losing his life, to my job of 7 years closing :(, and to other life events that just haven’t been the greatest to deal with. So, I’ve just distanced myself from everyone and all my social media, and honestly, it’s been great!
There have been some amazing things that have happened this past 8 months. The first one being I celebrated another year sober, and let me tell you, it hasn’t been the easiest nor the greatest year, probably one of the hardest yet, but I made it! The second thing, my grandma Annie turned 100 years old, and she is thriving and doing so good. I’m so glad she’s still here with us; I don’t know what I’d do without her.
The reason I’m making this post is actually for her. With that being said, her birthday was December 18th, and at that time, I was struggling because my job had just closed and the holidays, etc., so I wasn’t able to get her what I wanted to and ultimately the birthday she deserves! So yeah, I’ve felt pretty shitty for not being able to do something nice for her. That brought me here to Facebook lol. Last night, I went to sit in her recliner, and I went to put it back, and it broke, literally just broke (she’s had that thing since I was like 4 lol).
So, I am on a mission to buy my grandma the best recliner, a nice comfy one she can enjoy, but the problem is I am a broke b+*\u20ac lol, and a friend of mine was like, why don’t you make a GoFundMe for grandma? So that is what I am going to do. I will be making a GoFundMe, and if any of you wonderful people out there would like to donate, please msg me, and I’ll send you the link! I know grandma Annie has always been a grandma to all of my friends and was always letting me bring all my friends home and asking to let them spend the night. If I had friends who were having troubles at their homes, grandma’s would be the place where they’d come. All in all, grandma Annie has always been a loving, caring person to a lot of people, and I feel like it’s time we give her a little something to celebrate her and her 100 years on this earth!
Thanks for reading, and hopefully, we’re able to pull this off (: Much love always -Meliss
