***On June 2, 2021, Bryan Jones went to be with his Lord. We’re continuing to raise funds to help his children cover final bills and funeral expenses.
Recently Bryan was diagnosed with cancer in his kidney and lungs. With no history of cancer in the family, this came as a huge shock. The past month has been a blur as he’s gone in for repeated testing as the doctors try to set a plan for him to beat this disease. With so much unknown and Bryan already being out of work for a month his single income is starting to diminish. At the end of this week, his income will stop.
Those of you who have had the pleasure of meeting Bryan know what a kind and generous person he is. For a good portion of his life he was a single dad raising four strong willed children without the help of child support. Bryan served in the Army and National Guard for 10 years and was honorably discharged in 1989 as an officer with a service-connected disability. He also worked at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) for 17 years. Bryan was also a teacher at Houston Community College for 4 years in the Law Enforcement Training Center. Currently he works for the city of Waco where he’s been employed since 2005 as a Civil Engineer Inspector.
By setting up this GoFundMe we are hoping to raise some money to help him pay bills and put some food on the table. Our goal is to relieve as much of his stress as possible and as most of us know, paying bills and putting food on the table are one of the biggest stresses in life. We have faith in God that Bryan will beat this disease no problem. We know that God always provides.
