Hi, my name is Talia Frank, and I am 17 years old. In October 2025, my life changed forever when I lost beloved Danielle Barosso-Hoffman. She was like a second mother to be and my own mother’s best friend. Danielle discovered she was sick with Ovarian Cancer in July of 2022, and had a tough battle. She was the strongest person I knew and still is to this day. Danielle was not just someone close to my family; she was family. She helped raise me, guided me, loved me unconditionally, and shaped the person I am becoming today.
Danielle was the kind of person who lived for others. Even in moments of pain and uncertainty, she never stopped thinking about how she could help those around her. With Danielles ability to sustain a positive mindset, she spoke often and passionately about how much she wanted to give back to Chai Lifeline. This organization did so much for Danielle as they supported her through her battle, and continues to support her families facing unimaginable challenges. Giving back was not just something she talked about; it was who she was.
After taking time to grieve and reflect, I knew I wanted to honour Danielle in a way that truly represents her heart, her values, and her unwavering kindness. That is why I created Good Deeds 4 D: an organization rooted to bring people together within the Jewish community, transforming kindness into action. Our mission is simple but powerful: to carry on Danielle’s legacy by committing good deeds in her honour and turning those deeds into meaningful support for others.
All proceeds raised through Good Deeds 4 D will go directly to Chai Lifeline, fulfilling Danielle’s wish to give back and ensuring that her impact continues long after her passing. This organization is my promise to her that her love, generosity, and light will never fade, and that her story will continue through every act of kindness inspired by her life.
Thank you for supporting this mission, for helping me honour someone who meant the world to me, and for being part of something bigger than all of us. Together, we can turn loss into purpose, grief into giving, and good deeds into lasting hope.
