On August 19th 2023, on my way back to my vehicle, from watching a live local band/Window Shop Band at Swan Dive in downtown Austin, Texas. I walked past two young men(A#1,A#2), about to both beat up a 78 year old Man (Blue Shirt). They had him backed up against a brick wall with fists ready to attack . He was alone at the time, with no one around him. Without touching the attackers; from 3 feet away, I verbally tried to stop them, explaining that they should just leave him alone that it wasn't fair since he was obvious much older and also offering to pay any money if owed.

Instead, they both started attacking me; randomly sucker punching me, over and over. I ended up passing out backwards on the ground with my head upright, with both of them just kicking me in the head(Like a football), while I was on the ground (As pictured below). After a few minutes, the older man's friend (Bigger guy, Black Tank Top) came back and physically got between one of the two men and me, which stopped them attacking me. Then they noticed several people were filming/taking pictures and ran off. I woke up from being passed out, and I ended up going to the emergency room by ambulance, getting diagnosed with Post-concussion syndrome (PCS), having severe head, shoulder and neck pain, bleeding cuts on my face, and bruises all over. A day later I was back in the same ER for feeling even worse and sleeping 18 hours a day. Thanks to someone who took pictures, when the Austin Police arrived, they were able to identify and arrest the two people after they ran away down the street. The older man(Blue Shirt) was also experiencing homelessness.

-The Travis County Courts have been terribly rude and have not cared, or updated me on time, this whole time. 10/1/2025 Left a voicemail and have not gotten a call back, just like before.

-When I went to the office of the Austin Police Department Victims Services, instead of helping me they accused me of being drunk, when I had a migraine start in their office. The person accusing me now holds a high ranking within the Austin Police Department.

-February 2, 2025: After seeing many, many doctors, a Neurologist twice, who only offered me medicine as a solution that made me sleepy, the BEST doctor was a shoulder/Upper Extremity doctor , who suggested that my symptoms were caused by a neck issue and sent me to get a MRI of my neck and shoulder.

-March 18, 2025: MRI Results: C5-C6; Moderate focal midline disc bulge compressing anterior cervical spinal cord. Mild encroachment foramen.

was referred to a neck surgeon.

-May 27, 2025: Epidural Steroid Injection (C7-T1 interlaminar ESI) wore off in just a couple weeks.

-I had Neck Surgery on October 3rd 2025 at Baylor Scott and White in Temple, Texas . So far the Texas Victims Fund has been paying the medical bills.

-Personally working with the Texas Victims Fund people, to get some sort of lost wages but, this will take several more weeks. Currently waiting for my Neck Surgeon to be sent paperwork.

Any money raised, will help pay for recovery related costs.

-Not being able to work after surgery for at least 2 months after surgery, and will be restricted to light duty for months.

-Future uncovered doctor appointments that will aid in healing.
