Gonzos family support

Hello Family and Friends,

A few days ago I shared a status update from my husband, Gonzalo Duque, better known as "Gonzo". In his status, he mentioned the battle he is fighting with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. As most of you know, his beloved mother passed away a a little over a year ago from this same cancer. Hers was very sudden and gave her no chance to fight. With Gonzo, he has been a trooper and has been combating this cancer with me and our 3 girls attentively by his side tending to his every need and helping him through this storm every step of the way. He has also been dealing with what he referred to as a "bump in the road" when he was recently hospitalized in the University of Michigan hospital in Ann Arbor, MI.

With all their attention on this cancer and its affects on our family, time have been very tough and it seems as though the road may be bumpy for quite some time to come. I have started a fund to help ease some of the financial burdens during this difficult time.

For the past several months Gonzo has not been able to manage nor keep his business up and running. He has been focused on his battle and fighting a good fight. Even through this fight, he has not lost his devotion to the church. He still manages to update his weekly church bulletin online. Your continued thoughts and prayers for Gonzo are encouraged and any donation to help support him and our family during this time is greatly appreciated.
