With some of the lockdown restrictions now being lifted, we intend to relaunch England’s Maddest Wrestling Show!
However, due to a lack of government support over the last few months, we’ve been completely wiped out financially and with show-day ticket sales as the main source of income, there’s no potential profit in sight.
RISE is a completely independent organisation. Since 2014 it’s been a full-time project and, more recently, a full time job. I (Danny) finance the events from my own pocket and live month to month on ticket sales to pay the costs, rent & bills.
As a group, we’ve had time to reflect on the last few years and are now more motivated than ever to make RISE live up to it’s full potential. But with no startup funds, we need your help!
To help SAVE THE WRESTLING we’ve set up this gofundme with an initial target to get things back off the ground. With your support, we can begin producing new innovative content, invest in new merch and look into other ways of producing an income.
If the gofundme is successful, we’ll run the 5th Annual ASCENT Tournament in front of a limited capacity audience to stream completely free on Facebook & Youtube and will continue to produce new shows like this until audiences are allowed again.
Patreon is also an excellent way of supporting events and we’re so appreciative of the continued support on there. It is an excellent way to help even if you’re not interested in the extra content that’s available. There are standard tiers of either 5/10 US dollars or exclusive merch tiers for 25/35.
