There are times in life when those who have always been there for you, need you to be there for them. This is one of those times for the McMahon Family.
As you may know, Jody has been battling health issues related to her brain for some time, and has recently had brain surgery to help better diagnose and treat the issue. The ongoing uncertainty of her condition have no doubt been difficult for them to endure while going on with day-to-day life as parents of 4 beautiful children. Jody and Shawn have both been so positive and strong for their kids, extended family, friends, and colleagues.
When I asked to set up this GoFundMe page to help them manage out-of-pocket medical and other expenses, not surprisingly, their response was along the lines of "...but we feel so fortunate; there are so many others who have it much worse than we do...we don't want to ask for anything." I hope I spoke accurately on behalf of their friends and family, that we would want this easy way to support them during a rough patch in their lives as a thank you for the (many) times they have supported us. It took some convincing, and here we are with a GoFundMe page...
If you are one of those friends, family members, or colleagues of Jody or Shawn McMahon, and you would like to support them during this challenging time, any donation is very much appreciated. No donation is too small. The donations will assist with out-of-pocket expenses, including medical bills, travel to/from Jody's treatments at Johns Hopkins and other medical facilities, and expenses related to keeping their household running as normally as can be expected for their children while Jody is on disability leave from work.
