My name is Ray Wimley, and I went viral back in July 2019 with another legendary hip hop artist. This moment was so pivotal in my career. It inspired me to keep going with my passion. Since the viral video, I have had a lot of dope experiences and met some awesome people. I have also gotten to perform in some pretty cool places.
The only aspect that has been slow to come is the finances. I am in need of start up capital to launch my first album “Dare To Be Different” and take care of my family (#4under5 #withmywife) in the meantime. I previously had an easier time staying independent by busking on the streets of New Orleans. However, a month after my video, I had to pause. My wife, two relatives, and an associate all had dreams instructing me to stop performing in the downtown New Orleans area. These visions all pointed to a timeline that could have been fatal for me. Over time, I have learned to meditate on these types of
phenomenon and synchronicities. Not taking any chances, I immediately got off of the block! I have been performing after big events around the city and have gotten a few gigs, but I truly need a nice amount to get over this drastic change of pace.
The money I get will go towards the following necessities:
* Studio Time to Finish My First Album
* A Professional Website with an Event Calendar
* Marketing, Advertising, and Distribution
*Family Needs to Free Up Time to Create
