Breanna Negrete's Medical Fund

17 year old resident in Anaheim Hills, current high school senior at Canyon High School, beloved daughter, and amazing friend, Breanna Negrete was in a near fatal incident on Saturday night, which risked her life and her mobility because of her major injury she had sustained to her right leg.
This came as a huge shock to her bestfriends and community to find out the tragic news.
All weekend we have been supporting her and fighting alongside her in spirit as she goes through multiple surgeries and more than a handful of tests.
She had been unconscious all weekend and kept in an induced coma in the icu at Western Medical Center. She had lost almost all of her blood during the incident and waking up would risk her well being.
She had been moved to the UCI Medical Center early Monday afternoon and from there, the doctors restored blood in her leg down to her knee, but proceeded to amputate her right foot, in hopes that, that would be the worst of her leg.
They are going to be doing a surgery on Tuesday 12/16/14 or 12/17/14 to attempt to repair the nerve damage in her leg and reattatch the main atery, which was damaged when her leg was punctured with a large piece of glass.
We hope for the best news from Bre, and all of her friends and family pray for her as she keeps the most optimistic outlook.
Yesterday, she was conscious and found out her foot was no longer there, but simply looked at the doctor and thanked him for saving her life.
Bre brings light to everyone around her with the most contagious laugh and her ability to turn anyone's day around with a simple conversation. She makes every girl feel beautiful and cherished. She will put aside her problems to help others and I have never met a more selfless, caring, and genuine person in my life.
Even with all the health insurance in the world, the numbers are continually adding up even higher and with your support, we hope to lift some of the weight of the burden of money off of the Negrete family and Bre.
She had just been hired at Tilly's and had been so happy with her life, and the moment she woke up, was still her happy self who was ready to have a good time with her friends.
Even a small amount helps, and prayers are always appreciated so please donate whatever you feel you can, because Bre would appreciate it all.
Updates can be found at the facebook account established for her support group.
Thank you guys! Love you all!
