Glasgow Strong is a new movement that is happening right now in Cambridge, Maryland to bring about a resurgence of the sport of tennis. Tennis has always been so important to the children, youth, and adults in our community. Over the years, this sport has shaped the lives of so many people who have stepped foot onto Glasgow Tennis Courts, a beautiful complex of ten courts that have provided hours, days, and years of recreation, fun and competition. The James G. Busick Tennis Foundation has raised funds to build, maintain, and care for this fabulous complex. The courts are now in need of resurfacing, because like everything with age, they need extra care. Glasgow Strong is the catalyst that is going to bring new interest, new energy, and new support for the James G. Busick Tennis Foundation. Our goal is to raise enough money that all ten courts can be resurfaced by Fall of 2016. Glasgow Strong is the movement that will gather all of the "ghosts of Glasgow", past tennis players who grew up at Glasgow, community members who love playing tennis at Glasgow, and our community's future tennis players to come together to help keep Glasgow Tennis Courts the premiere tennis complex on the Eastern Shore! If you grew up on Glasgow or tennis was/is a big part of your life, won't you join the movement to become Glasgow Strong?
