Dear compassionate friends and caring individuals,

I come to you today with a plea for help, for both my daughter and myself. My name is Lasha, and we find ourselves in a dire situation, facing unimaginable challenges that no one should have to endure.

For the second time in just four years, we have been displaced from our home due to my mental and physical disabilities. It breaks my heart to see my daughter, a remarkable high school senior and president of multiple after-school activities, shouldering the burden of caring for me while trying to navigate her own path in life. The weight she carries as my primary caregiver is immense, and it pains me to think of the sacrifices she has made for me.

Despite my relentless efforts to overcome the obstacles stacked against us, I have reached my limits. We are now in urgent need of transportation as we navigate a complex web of assistance from various departments, including Social Services, the Department of Mental Health, and the Housing Authority.

The donations we receive will be used to secure a vehicle. This will provide my daughter the ability to get us around while these vital organizations work tirelessly to find a long-term solution for us. It is my hope that their continued support will extend beyond this initial period, but if not, we will endeavor to find available resources that can provide us with the bare minimum of safety and warmth.
