HELP SIERRA LEONE FLOOD VICTIMS
Donation protected

This is what we have done so far.
I need you to help them with a lifeline. A meal, a soft sponge to lay on, some clothes to cover their back, a glimmer of hope for the future. Most poor Sierra Leoneans earn approximately $1.50 per day so any amount will give a lifeline in these extremely difficult times. I am a Sierra Leonean pleading with you to help my fellow brothers and sisters in their time of need. Every little will help to give hope to those who have nothing, no one and nowhere to look. PLEASE DONATE AND SHARE WITH YOUR FRIENDS ASKING THEM TO DO THE SAME!!

The funds will be used to purchase bags of rice, clothing, plastic top hauling and sponge mattresses for those who have suffered from the the floods and their families with primary focus on children under the age of 13 and the elderly who have no one to care for them.

This is very close to me because I am also a Sierra Leonean who has lived with many of the people affected by this disaster. The area where the flooding took place is only a few kilometers from my family's home. I am privileged to live in the United States now but with this disaster I am compelled to do something that will make a difference. Something more than just feeling sorry for the victims. This is it and I plead with you for the care of humanity to join me in helping these victims, people just like you and I. They need us now. It may seem like they are a world away but they will feel your contribution very close to home. PLEASE DONATE AND SHARE WITH YOUR FRIENDS ASKING THEM TO DO THE SAME!!

Trusted people in Sierra Leone will help me to execute this in an accountable manner. They are family members and friends that share the same deep passion for helping these victims. The funds will be used to directly help those in need without having to be filtered through the administration of non profit organizations that can take time. These people need the help today, right now. WE NEED YOUR DONATION TODAY!!
We will provide feedback videos and pictures of those who benefit from your generosity. PLEASE DONATE AND SHARE WITH YOUR FRIENDS ASKING THEM TO DO THE SAME!!

HOW WILL FUNDS BE DISTRIBUTED?
Funds from the GoFundMe campaign will be deposited directly to my personal Bank of America account and then sent via Western Union or MoneyGram to my trusted family members living in Sierra Leone. Valecia Sittah, my sister will be responsible for accounting for every penny that is spent and she will coordinate the purchase of the items that are needed the most by those affected. We will share how the money is spent and what items are purchased via pictures and videos. Our area of focus will be in the Kandingo Primary School and Kamayama Open Camp where victims of the landslide and flood are being sheltered. This is close to the site where the landslides devastated so many families.
Our initial focus will be on feeding the people and providing sponges, blankets and used clothes to those children and elderly most vulnerable in the shelters.
