Albert's Home Automated Living

My name is Ashly and I am starting this fund for my godfather. His name is Albert and he is a quadriplegic. He has been my father's best friend for over 35 years. For the past 16, Albert has not had the ability to move around freely. Before the accident, Albert liked to stay active. He was a strong worker and the life of all events. This accident has taken away a lot from him. Simple things we easily overlook, like jumping in the shower, are no longer an option. 

A good friend 12 years ago was able to supply Albert with a computer that allowed him to control things in his room. With out it everyday things, such as turning on a light or making a phone call, are not available to Albert. Unfortunately, the computer is outdated and the program he uses doesn't offer an updated version. 

We would love help so that we can provide Albert with a better system, that gives control of his home to him. With this new system, he will be able to lock/unlock his front door! He will be able to control his AC and different items that plug in.  Home Automated Living (HAL) will be able to give back some of Albert's independence and make his everyday living so much better.
