Give Grizzly a 2nd chance at life with operating

Hi my names madelaine , I’m grizzly’s mummy,

I don’t know where to start or what to really say besides a dog isn’t just a dog to me it’s family and grizz has been through thick and thin by my side since day 1, I’ve had grizzly since a pup and throughout his life his been a very healthy happy spoilt fur baby, grizzly is nearly 13 and for his breed mastiff X his done well to get to his age , I noticed grizz not acting like his normal self recently so I took him in for scans and X-rays and By the first vet they told me he was ok though we all know we know our fur babies better than anyone so I got a second opinion, and we’ll after the ultra sound it’s comes back that grizzly has a mass measuring 10cm x 10cm from the tail of his spleen , it’s either a tumour or cyst and his spleen can be removed, without opening him up at this stage it can’t be said what it is ! If it’s an aggressive tumour he has less than two months to live without operating if it’s a cyst and we operate he will live out his older years however long that is for and if we operate and it’s an aggressive tumour there’s a chance of it spreading and then there isn’t a time frame of how long it will take for them other cancers to grow , yes grizzly is an older dog though I believe he is a fighter and without this operation I won’t know what the mass is and what the future may hold for him and I don’t want to give up on him I feel like he wants to fight to be here and to live as long as he chooses to ! I wouldn’t put my baby through living in pain and going through with the operation is what I has decided is right for him , so please to anyone that would like to support grizzly’s journey my appreciation and thanks goes further than words ❤️
