My name is Ligia I am one of many close freinds to a young lady named Giovanna. Giovanna is a daughter , sister, cousin,aunt and a loving friend to so many.In 2011 Giovanna was diagnosed with lupus, if you don't know what lupus is ill give you a brief explanation . Lupus is an auto immune disorder were the body attacks itself affecting the joints, skin , and even internal organs . Patients with lupus live a daily life of chronic pain, fevers , fatigue and burning rashes . Sadly Giovanna has all those symptoms and more . This past year Giovanna's lupus has progressed , she has been in and out of hospitals and even experienced organ faliure . Her family is doing the best they can to keep up with the medical expenisies. Her father works two jobs and her mom finds time to work with caring for both Giovanna and their brother who was born with Down syndrome . The doctors have yet to find a regim that helps Giovanna and her symptoms . I'm asking you please to donate and help ease the burden of money on this family . No donation is to small , Giovanna is a young lady in her twenties who still has a full life and many experiences  to live .
