Meet Charity Agama, 5 years old, KG 2 learner from Ho, Ghana.

Charity begins at home her journey each day to the place that brings such a lovely smile.

In the years to come Charity will move forward into primary school. She and her family want her to continue in the same school. For that to happen, more classrooms need to be added. This will benefit many other lovely children too. More classrooms means more space, less noise and most importantly, more personal care and attention from teachers. Everyone benefits; the learners, teachers, families, community and our world.

Charity’s school in Ghana has grown increasingly popular. It now has 220 children attending Creche, Nursery 1 & 2, KG 1 & 2, and small numbers in Primary 1 & 2. Additional classrooms need to be built to meet the increasing demand.

For these next few months, every dollar given will be matched, up to $10,000!

We strive to make that accessible not just to the wealthy, but to aspiring parents of more modest means. These families also want to invest in their children to ensure that the next generation will be able to rise higher. Your support will give these children the opportunity not only for academic achievement, but to also get a firm ethical grounding in serving their community and a passionate pursuit to develop their potentials throughout life.

Your continued generosity has established the school and enabled it to develop.

Through the dedicated efforts of our staff, the school has flourished and now has an ever increasing number of students. In fact, we're ‘busting at the seams'!

The school has become too small to take proper care of our more than 220 children. The parents’ demand and expectation is that their children continue with us into higher classes. And there is a waiting list for preschool. So we need to build more classrooms!

With your support three more classrooms were added in late 2020 and early 2021, one additional ground floor room and two on our new second story.  This is a very significant milestone in the school's development. The cost of this was more than USD 40,000.  That may seem high...our original building's foundation was made for a single story, so to add on top required additional and costly substructure work.


An even greater challenge defines our next phase: the construction of two more and larger classrooms, a staff room, more toilets and a store room, plus another staircase to these new 2nd story facilities.  And this is the longer side of our L shaped building! The budget is minimum US$ 80,000.  

Your support will guarantee our school continues to build upon success, and help our many children to expand their horizons!
