This fundraiser will be used to support me in actively seeking a safer living situation as well as giving me a slight buffer while I aim to continue my education.
Hello! My name is Clover B. You may have noticed that any pictures of me on this fundraiser obscures my face. This is because I am presently living in a home that would likely not respond positively to knowing that these pictures are of me.
I am a transgender woman who lives in a home with unsupportive parents who have at certain times threatened to kick me out for being trans. I’m working full time at a job that is extremely stressful and underpays me to the point that I cannot keep up with my medical bills, tuition fees, and other expenses such as debt.
As I type, I am very close to being done with my associates degree and will be moving towards obtaining a bachelor’s degree, though I will likely have to wait until I have the funds to move away from my current living situation before then.
My goal with this fundraiser is to address my financial situation and take steps towards moving into a home that is less hostile to me and how I wish to be. The majority of the funds would be going towards a rent fund for wherever I end up living, and the rest will be going towards moving costs, medical bills and other expenses.
