Asking for help like this is not easy for us, but right now we have reached a point where we cannot make it through this situation alone.

Last month, I lost my job. Since then, I have been actively searching for new employment, submitting applications, and doing everything I can to get back to work as quickly as possible. I currently have a couple of interviews lined up, and I am hopeful that one of those opportunities will help put us back on stable ground.

My wife is working, and we are doing everything we can to keep up with our household expenses, but right now her income alone is not enough to cover everything.

As a veteran, I receive monthly VA disability compensation, which normally helps cover the rent for our home. After losing my job, however, much of that income had to be redirected toward childcare and other immediate family expenses so my wife could continue working and we could keep things moving.

That has left us behind on rent, behind on our payment arrangement with the electric company, and struggling to keep enough food in the house while we try to recover.

Right now, we need to raise $3,150 by August 20, 2026 to cover our immediate rent, electric, and food expenses and keep our family stable while I secure new employment.

The most urgent concern is our housing. Our property management company is very strict when it comes to overdue rent, and if we cannot get caught up, our family faces the very real possibility of eviction.

We are not asking the community to carry us indefinitely. We are actively working to dig ourselves out of this. I am applying for jobs, attending interviews, and working toward restoring our income. My wife continues to work, and we are cutting expenses and doing everything we can on our end.

What we need right now is a temporary bridge.

We need enough breathing room to keep the rent paid, the electricity on, and food on the table while I get back to work and we regain our footing.

If you are able to donate, even a small amount helps move us closer to that goal. If you are not in a position to contribute financially, simply sharing this fundraiser can make an enormous difference.

We know many families are struggling right now, and we do not take anyone's generosity for granted. We are simply asking for some temporary help during a difficult chapter so that we can keep our family secure while we work our way back to stability.

Thank you for taking the time to read our story, for sharing it, and for helping our family through this.

Goal: $3,150
Deadline: August 20, 2026
Funds will go toward: Rent, electricity, and food while I secure new employment.
