Georgia Mcnuty-Hook has been an 18 year resident of Redwood City and in early Febuary was handed an eviction notice to be out by April 1st.  The landlord decided to start renovating soon after, causing her home to be unhabitable. The water has turned to rust which caused the worst infection on a small cut on her toe, being woken up at 6 am to jack hammers and shaking walls are a few examples.  She called code enforcement about this situation. The response was her being given a 5 day eviction notice.  She's been to legal aid today.
Georgia is a 69 year old (young), widowed,  has a brain tumor, missing an eye and has a mass on her kidney and pancreas, and spends most of her days in pain.
She will be moving to Roseville but is in desperate need of help moving her belongings there or she'll lose everything.
Georgia lives frugally month to month with paid Pension and Social Security and is in need of help at this moment in her life.
I have been blessed that I met her through Nextdoor. She is a wonderful, funny lady. If you ever need a gut wrenching laugh, ask her for one of her hilarious life stories.
I am asking if anyone is available to help with the cost of this move.
She would be forever grateful and appreciative.
