Help Gem Get to Disney Land Paris with her babies

Gemma perused an appointment with consultants and was referred to another Doctor as they believe there is further treatment available. A clinical trial was suggested and accepted. ❤️
Gemma had the appointment with the new doctor in Hammersmith on Wednesday 15th
With great news that the clinical trial is available but may now not be needed. this is such positive news. ⭐️

Immunotherapy has since been offered and accepted. This will be carried out through an IV drip every 3 weeks. Gemma is waiting for another phone call from the consultant as she doesn't have more information but is so excited to get started. Currently, the cancer has not spread further and is not in the organs, we continue to pray.

****UPDATE**** 01/12/2021
So as you all know we have raised an incredibe amount which has allowed Gemma to focus on her healing journey without financial worries. We can't thank you enough. 
6-7 weeks ago we received the positive news that we was in the clear. we celebrated, we laughed, we cried. We partied. Never would we imagine that in weeks to come we would receive the news that we have just yesterday. 

It breaks my heart to say that Gemma was informed that she was/Is now stage 4.. Through weeks of discomfort and many appointments again she was informed that due to the Cancer being in the Lymph Node it has spread to the bottom of her spine and pelvis.

As ever I can't thank you all enough for your generosity to date. All of her friends, best friends, family are just so happy to know that there is support.

Gemma will always light up a room just by being there. You’ll never see her without a smile, hear her without a cackle or feel her without a presence. She’s all the B’s!
Bold, beautiful & brilliantly bonkers! 
Gem is a hard working person who will always make sure her 2 babies have everything they need to be healthy & happy, fact!
She’s worked double shifts and over time where possible. Unfortunately she can’t work due to intense pain in her body & can’t receive sick pay due to recent maternity. Her babies Faith & Ellison are her absolute world and she will always be the best Mum she can be with all that she has. 

On March 3rd 2021 my best friend & soul sister was diagnosed with stage 3 cervical cancer. 
This news came soon after many complaints of discomfort to her doctor & nurse. Endless appointments. Reassured because she was pregnant. Reassured because she had been carrying a baby and her symptoms were totally fine. 
The news we have received has really launched Gemma into a dark & scary place. Though she is still wearing a smile and trying to help other females by encouraging smear tests & encouraging them to trust gut instincts. If your body is talking to you through pain, listen to it! Track your symptoms, record your daily discomforts. Help someone to help you. 

I met with Gemma for a cup of tea on her door step. My heart broke. My heart broke because in all of this news, she is worrying about more than just her fight. The abrupt news gave her no time to prepare. No time to set aside Money for Ellison’s Nursery, rent, travel costs and general living costs. Gems family have been amazing in every way but I feel reaching out to anyone that can donate no matter how small can help take pressure off those closest right now & most importantly help Gemma focus and channel all the  energy she has into curing her body from this evil bug rather than her mind working over time wondering how she will pay the bills. I can’t sit back and watch my friend of 16 years worry about more than necessary right now. 

Im confident Gemma will fight and get through this. I’m confident Faith & Ellison will not have to see mummy struggle or worry in a time of despair. With our help we can ease the pain.
