My mother, aged 75, is facing dire health conditions, including being a type 1 diabetic, severe malnutrition, and numerous health concerns exacerbated by the challenging circumstances within Gaza. She was scheduled for a heart valve replacement just before the outbreak of the war, resulting in delayed medical care. Additionally, she is partially blind in one eye due to the harsh war conditions and frequent displacements.

Since October 8th, 2023, my mother and her family have been living without electricity, relying on canned food aid, lacking access to clean water, and facing a scarcity of essential medications, particularly insulin. The harsh conditions, including cold weather and exposure to smoke from wood fires used for cooking due to the absence of propane, have taken a toll on her health.

Her situation is critical, and her health is rapidly deteriorating. Urgent evacuation is necessary. I have an ongoing visa application for her in the United States, and a pending application for a special temporary immigration program in Canada for extended family members residing in Gaza.

Despite multiple attempts by Canadian authorities to evacuate individuals from Gaza, diplomatic efforts have been unsuccessful so far. Therefore, I am exploring alternative options, including registering through a paid service in Cairo. While success is not guaranteed, I am willing to try.

The fees for this service range between $5,000 and $10,000, depending on demand. Additionally, they require the presence of a first-degree relative during the process, necessitating my personal attendance.

I plan to travel to Cairo once I can register with Hala-travel, but funds are limited. I am reaching out to seek your help in collecting $10,000 (the first urgent part) to cover the fees, with the commitment to manage other expenses such as flights, medical attention, and accommodation for my mother.

How the Funds Will Be Spent:
