Gavin Kade’s Top Surgery Recovery Fund!
Who is Gavin?
They are a musician, writer, activist, facilitator, sweet friend and committed community member. Their passions in life, work and art center around gender, social justice, and personal growth. Gavin works for Out In Schools spreading messages of equality to youth, for the BC Youth Resource center providing critical support to young folks. Their musical stylings can be found in queer venues and local stages, either solo or with their energetic, foot stompin’ band, Lost Boy Found.
What is the money being used for?
Gavin Kade’s surgery has been approved for funding! We need to pull together some funds to help support them during their healing, as none of the jobs or projects they are involved with will be able to offer any support.
Your donations will help cover:
-transportation to and from the surgery in Victoria
-accomodations
-pet care while in recovery
-food
-rent
-gas
-time off work
-counselling to help support the process
-unexpected emergencies
-and more!
Our goal is on gofundme is $2000 towards this end!
Anyone who donates over $25 gets a choice of 1 litre of organic homemade fermented lavender lemon soda, gingerale, or non-organic hard cider
Anyone who donates over $50 gets a gift of a Gavin Kade CD and fermenty goodness.
Anyone who donates over $75 gets a personal thank you poem/letter/card from Gavin, a Gavin Kade CD, and fermenty goodness
Anyone who donates over $100 gets a personal thank you poem/letter/card from Gavin, a Gavin Kade CD, a combo pack of all fermented things, and a triumphant post op photo!
Anyone who donates over $125 gets all of the above plus a $25 gift certifacte to Auberon Wolf Tattoos.
