Hey everyone my name is Paul Doom. Our oldest son Gavin, who will be 5 years old in March, was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder in December 2015. Autism is a MEDICAL condition, not a mental disorder, affecting the gastrointestinal, immune, & nervous systems. He was due on March 9, 2012 but he arrived on March 5, 2012. He was delivered by emergency c-section due to a reaction to the patocin.

Gavin has been in ABA therapy since January, 2016. He undergoes 35 hours a week of therapy. Though it's quite tiring, we have seen a dramatic improvement. We recently learned and have elected to do the biomedical approach to treating him. Biomedical treatments address the root cause and not the symptoms. Biomed treatment results in healing and loss of symptoms. In basic terms, we are choosing to heal our son rather than mask his symptoms from the ASD. All of the symptoms of his autism can be traced to a medical/biological problem. We are determined to heal our son. 99.9% of biomedical treatments, hyperbaric therapy,  tests, supplements etcetera, are not covered under insurance, so we are doing what it takes to help him!
