Hello, after 30 years as a truck driver, owner/operator I was informed in August that my kidneys have unexpectedly failed. The DOT won't let me drive anymore and I am awaiting the start.of dialysis and eventually a transplant. I am a US Navy veteran and my medical costs are covered by the VA. My living expense (rent, travel to appointments, food, utilities, etc) are not. I am in the process of getting benefits from SSI however that is a very slow tedious process. It can take as long as a year. I'm hoping to raise funds to cover just my essential living expenses until my benefits start. All resources for rental help locally here in Moscow and in the state if Idaho have been exhausted. 

I will use any donations to cover my rent, vehicle expenses, and household bills.
