Camp Fire Survivors
Donation protected
It’s with great sadness that I say the Camp Fire took my sister and her families home. I feel so fortunate knowing they made it to safety, as too many did not. My 3 sweet nieces are 9, 4, and 1 year olds and everything they had was lost to the fire. There is nothing left, and it’s so hard for them not being able to cuddle their favorite stuffed animals or sleep in their own beds. They miss their home, and are doing their very best to make due. They are so thankful to still have each other. I think this is the most difficult for the children because they just can’t grasp what has happened, and why they can’t go home. Between 2 deployments equaling 3 years Preston has proudly served our country in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Kuwait. He still serves our country, and he and his family have suffered a terrible loss. My heart aches for my family, and for those who are suffering from this horrible tragedy. I pray for those who are unaccounted for, and that they are found safe. If you would like to donate, it would be greatly appreciated. They’ve lost so much and have to start over with nothing except the love they have for each other, and from their families and friends.
