Dear friends, family and friends who have become my family,

I want to thank everyone who has supported the life journey of my late husband Jim and I. For over 40 years we have reached millions of kids with our message of: NEVER GIVE UP, BELIEVE IN YOURSELF, FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS, STAY IN SCHOOL, DON’T BE A BULLY AND SAY NO TO DRUGS.  Many of you were a part of our outreach to at risk youth and participated in my unique combination of motivational speaking through actions sport demos and experienced the one-on-one encounters we had with kids at these events. In the past 4 years I have lost my dear husband, Jim, and now I am losing some of my key sponsors, due to changes in their corporate structure. In 71 years, nothing has stopped me from pursuing my mission in life of supporting kids. That’s why I'm excited to share with you that I'm taking the dream Jim and I pursued together to the next level, a new adventure.  With your help and the continued support of our incredible action sports industry, I am starting a nonprofit foundation called “Gale Webb’s KIDS-R-#1”, so I can reach more children with my message of hope, perseverance and ultimately let them know that THEY MATTER.

This money will keep my Kids-R-#1 program going while “Gale Webb’s Kid-R-#1” non-profit foundation is being set up.
