The Cowboys are a popular high school football program based in the heart of The Carrollwood Community in Tampa, Florida.
Gaither High School will host over 2,100 students annually, in the next couple of years. The increase in population will easily make Gaither High School one of the largest in the county. With a projected 15% increase in student population over the course of the next few years, Gaither High School is in desperate need of facilities. With your help we can achieve an Athletic Building that would accommodate our student athletes with the facilities they deserve. This facility would boast football locker room, a state of the art athletic training room, and a multi-purpose media center/computer room for student athletes to study/do school work.
We are seeking a total donation of $75,000.00 from anyone who would like to help us achieve our goal. Hillsborough County will match funds from the school district's education foundation of up to $50,000.
Gaither Athletics is very proud of our achievements and the hard work our kids put in on a daily basis. This has not only led to on-field success but providing students with an opportunity to gain a higher education. This past season alone, four current Gaither Cowboys have been granted opportunity to play collegiate football.
In order to provide our student-athletes with opportunities such as personal growth and continued education, we try to maximize time spent in the classroom, on the field and with their families. However, there are many expenses connected with running the program and we rely for funding solely on our own fundraising events and the support of the community and local businesses. We are hopeful that the surrounding community, local businesses and former alumni will back us in our pursuit to help make the future Gaither Athletics a nationally recognized program.
