Hunter Hogarth, Dave Taylor, and Shawn Antonides leave to run one of the hardest marathons in the world on the Great Wall of China on April 21, 2019. They started doing these adventures with a 70.3 km, 4-day trek through Gros Morne National Park in Newfoundland, Canada.
The next adventure is a grueling 42 km marathon up and down the stairs of The Great Wall of China (GWOC).
We are running this marathon in support of The SickKids Foundation who are currently raising money to build a new SickKids Hospital. This money will go towards funding the hospital so they can continue their life-changing research. Every year 15,000 kids are admitted to the hospital and there are over 60,000 ER visits each year. In order to continue their remarkable work, they need to expand their operations, which is why we are raising this money.
The SickKids Foundation has impacted all of our lives in a positive way and we want to ensure that a new hospital can continue to help future generations.
