As some of you may know, my name is Nancy and I'm from Los Angeles, California.

Having visited family in Guatemala a month ago, I'm well aware of how much the Guatemalan people need our help during this devastating time.

This  gofundme page was created solely for THAT purpose. TO HELP!

Sunday’s violent volcano eruption in Guatemala, has killed many and  left hundreds homeless. As the  heartbreaking images continue to come in, we knew we couldn't just sit and watch. 

My family, based off of San Lucas Sacatepequez, Guatemala and those here in Los Angeles have united in effort to help in raising money to  provide necessary items
 to the  local shelters. Shelters otherwise overlooked by major organizations. 

Our goal is to DIRECTLY help those who need it.

Once we've met our goal, our designated beneficiary,  in this case is our cousin Michelle ( who resides in San Lucas Sacatepequez, Guatemala) will withdraw the money. 
Money raised will then be used for the following: water, beans,rice,salt,sugar,canned food,paper towels, toilet paper, soap,tooth paste,tooth brushes,shampoo,  and diapers.

Once purchases have been made, we will provide receipts to ensure donations are used efficiently and for its intended purpose. 

Pictures and videos will also be provided as the items are delivered to shelters.
