This summer season is in full swing here at Galaxy Of Film, and we're raising funds for two of our productions: Would You Like Fries With That? and Project: News.

These films are passion projects—we’ve written, cast and prepped everything ourselves—but we can’t cover all the costs alone. Your donation will help pay for fair compensation for cast and crew, equipment rentals, locations and submission fees for film festivals.

What’s in it for you? Every donor will be listed in the film credits as a thank‑you. Larger contributions can receive a digital download of the finished film + prequel double feature. If you can’t donate, sharing this campaign helps just as much!

Director’s statement - Hey everyone! I'm Maximillian Wood, an independent filmmaker with a passion for telling offbeat, character-driven stories with heart and humor. Here's a little more detail on my two newest films.

Would You Like Fries With That? — the official sequel to our earlier short film Like A Surgeon.

In this follow-up story, we reconnect with Mike, who finds himself on a different kind of lunch break — this time joined by the mysterious new guy in the office, Robert. What starts as a casual bite turns into a hilariously heated debate about one of life’s biggest questions:

Who has the best french fries?

Project: News - Meet Frank Frankfurt: the happiest man on Earth… at 4AM.

Frank is the overly enthusiastic anchor for the town's least-viewed news program, The 4AM News. He’s an endless fountain of good vibes — whether or not anyone’s actually watching. But behind Frank’s cheerful façade, there’s something stirring — a quiet desperation to be seen, to matter.

Talent:

Nijal Morgan - Mike

Nijal is an actor from Fayetteville, North Carolina and is currently based out of New York as he attends The Juilliard School. He is incredibly passionate about the craft and will continue leaving his mark on film.

Nijal has also been featured in several of the Galaxy Of Film productions including "Like A Surgeon.", "Umm" and "Goonies in Agony".

Farhan Chowdhury - Robert

Farhan is an actor based out of Raleigh and has played wide-ranging roles from southern cult follower, to a Jim Morrison shaman imitator. He has been working primarily in TV/Film and has been involved with several North Carolina productions.

Farhan has also been featured in the Galaxy Of Film production "Goonies in Agony".

Matt Huff - Tyler

Matt is a director, writer and actor based out of Virginia. He is also the founder of the independent production company, Mega Pixel Productions. After starring in his directorial debut Wayside, Matt is looking to expand his horizons as an actor.

Matt has also been featured in a brief cameo in the Galaxy Of Film production "Umm".
