Who is the Fundraiser?
Hi, my name is Megan Wong-Lam, at church they called me Teacher Megan! Teacher Adam loves the kids and God blessed us with a loving son Samuel. After surviving a deadly COVID pneumonia over the passed 2 weeks, I know God has me LIVE for more impactful purposes to serve whatever HE put into my heart! I have a heart for Pastor Josh & Sherry Ong to build their family in a GOOD home! I called this GOD-GIVEN GOOD HOME for the Ongs! This fundraising is a "surprise" for the couple, they do not know this. It is God called me to do this while my breathing is depending on an Oxygen concentrator.
Who are these Kingdom Servants?
God had amazingly united these beautiful souls in a marriage back in summer. Pastor Josh serves full time as our English Young Adult & College Pastor. Mrs. Sherry Ong serves full time as our Children's Minister. In an essence, they are spiritual counselors to our next generations! These two literally sacrificing all earthly luxury and high pays, and pouring their hearts & souls to dedicate themselves to serve the children from pre-K to college & young adults. They are both true Kingdom servants and warriors!
Why fundings are needed?
As we all know, the housing market in Dallas had dramatically changed since a year and half ago. What was sold for $360K last year could easily end up now $460K+ in today's brutal bidding market. Because of high demand & bidding wars, the conditions of the houses are often sold as As-Is; not the fixer-upper condition when most of us purchased our home before then. Over 10 months of battle since January, praise to the Lord that the Ongs won a bid for a home in Richardson 2 weeks ago! They love the location that are so closed to the church and relatives.
What can we do for them now?
However, the extra bidding cost to win the bid was out of their expectation/ budget if you would. The home was built in the early 80's and requires a fair amount of flooring, fixtures and windows replacement, and remodel costs now and in the future. Together, the cost to gain this home plus repair & remodeling cost totaled up an astronomical amount for a couple both served full time in the church ministry. With all my heart, I ask you to PRAY & JOIN me to make gift donation to cover either purchase cost or repair cost that are required before they moved into the house. Our gifts be able to contribute to this God-given-Good-Home for this beautiful couple for many years to come!

Join our MISSION today! Allow God to speak to your hearts. Every gift counts! All gift donations will be transferred to the Ongs' personal banking and served solely as their housing down payment toward closing or repairs to the home of their final choice. This fund raising continues until we reach our goal. Under all other circumstances, all gift donation will be given to the Ongs toward the purchase of their home they decided to close on their own discretionary as downpayment, closing, repair costs.
