Vision: To Create a Space for Relaxing and Dreaming
Help us build the Fairmount Corner Pocket Park
The Goldens Bridge Hamlet Organization is undertaking the rehabilitation of a 1.5 acre site owned by the Town of Lewisboro. The parcel is located at the corner of Fairmount Road and Route 138 and remains underutilized. Our vision for this site includes establishing a sitting area with a pavilion, removing invasive species from the pond and crafting a pathway through an overgrown meadow. Anticipated expenses include removing portions of a broken foundation, clearing invasive growth and arresting its return, building a strolling path, seeding wildflowers, and effectuating a natural habitat for local wildlife.
The area under development is central to the over 1,600 residents in the hamlet of Goldens Bridge and easily accessed by surrounding neighborhoods. Please contribute to crafting a space for all who crave a place to refocus on the benefits of nature. Help us reach our goal of $18,000 by making a donation.
